126 country visitors, about 4,900 views and 68 new posts, along with breaking 10,000 over-all views made 2013 the best year ever for Environmental Explorations!

It has also been a good year for me! I have moved to a new state, started graduate school, traveled around the West Coast, changed my blog name, and presented my blog as a research project at the AGU conference. I have also made connections in my field and was able to expand my horizons by soaking in research throughout the year.

To start off the new year, I will be blogging about my three-week trip to California, filled with functional recycling bins, hiking, and suggestions for change.

Whether you were reading about my thoughts on graduation from Penn State or about Montana coal, two of the most view posts from 2013, thank you for reading and I hope to see you in 2014!
