Here is something to play with this weekend while you are procrastinating shoveling your driveway (or if you live in warmer climates, hanging out by the pool or something… lucky you!).
Google maps came out with 3D view a while ago, offering users to see actual photos of an area if you zoom in far enough. However, they have come out with MapsGL in beta, which allows users to see a very realistic view of landmarks, and my favorite of the bunch. You can also see photos and 360 degree views of certain landmarks
